THEC Approved Programs & Information
The following classes are approved for CPE credits. The credits have been figured "in accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour." The delivery method for all courses offered by BCTI is Group Live.

Explanation of Course Levels
Courses are separated into separate parts according to their level of difficulty. Below is an explanation of what each level means.
For classes separated into 3 levels:
- Level 1 - Beginner
- Level 2 - Intermediate
- Level 3 - Advanced
For courses separated into 4 levels:
- Level 1 - Beginner
- Levels 2 & 3 - Intermediate
- Level 4 - Advanced
Advanced Preparation, Prerequisites, and Objectives for Courses
No advanced study materials or exercises are required before attending BCTI courses.
Some courses require that you take a prerequisite course or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience with content taught in the prerequisite course. These courses will list their prerequisites inside their course outline. You can find all course outlines on our website by clicking the “Course Outlines” button on the right side of the home page or by hovering over the Training button at the top of the page and then clicking on “Course Outlines”. Once there, scroll down to find the topic of the course you are looking for, then click on the topic. If there are multiple versions for some courses. When making your selection, please choose the version that is appropriate. The course outline will load and then you can scroll down to find all prerequisite information for that course.
To find the course objectives, follow the same directions given in the previous paragraph. The objectives are found right below the course description/duration inside the course outline.
Registration Procedure
Students may register for class by phone or email. Please provide a method of payment at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and approved company PO. Students unable to provide payment information upon registration will be given a tentative seat in the class until payment is received.
Payment Policy
BCTI cannot guarantee a seat in any class unless payment has been received or other arrangements have been made. As classes fill, students that have not paid are subject to be rescheduled. BCTI reserves the right to refuse admission to any student unless payment has been received or prior arrangements have been made.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
In order to provide the most consistent schedule of classes possible, BCTI has instituted the following cancellation policy:
- BCTI will make every effort to hold classes on the dates scheduled once the minimum number of students has registered for the class.
- Cancellations should be made in writing via email (training@bcti.com) or fax (423-282-8887).
- Unless stated otherwise, cancellations received 10 or more business days prior to the first day of the class are eligible for a full refund or Training Credit.
- Students and/or organizations that cancel with less than 10 business days notice are responsible for the full cost of the class and will receive BCTI Training Credits for the amount paid.
- Training Credits are transferable and may be used toward payment for any BCTI class. Training Credits not used within one year are forfeited.
- Students canceling without notice (“no shows”) are responsible for the full cost of the class and are eligible to re-register for the class under BCTI’s Free Repeat Policy.
Repeat Policy
Any student can repeat a class one time for free within 6 months of the date of the original class. (Please be aware that CPE credits will not be given for the “repeated” course only for the first time the class is taken.) Repeat classes must be the same as the original class. They are not transferable or cash redeemable. Free repeats are subject to class and seat availability. BCTI does not guarantee that any class will be offered again within six months.
Complaint and Grievance Procedure for CPE Students
Students who have grievances with Bailey Computing Technologies may first contact their account executive who will make the education manager aware of the problem. Every effort will be made to resolve the situation to the student’s satisfaction. If the complaint is not settled at that level, the student may contact BCTI’s president/CEO, Chase Boles, in regard to the grievance. BCTI will make every effort to resolve the situation to the student’s satisfaction.If the matter cannot be resolved then the complaint may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org
NASBA
Bailey Computing Technologies, Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
